Work in progress, a few shots in the studio, sketch book ideas, and some old etchings from christmas :)

Some dry-point prints I did by accident! Was meant to be doing an etching but completely forgot to prepare my plate so it ended up being a dry-point.  The one on the right is my first attempt, as you can see its my lighter and you cant see much detail, the one on the left is my second attempt, I worked into it again where I wanted the lines to be darker.  I'm quite happy with the out come, its no final piece but definitely some good experimentation.

Ok so I want to do some nice pieces on paper and I don't want it all wrinkly and un-professional :D

Sooooo I'm stretching it, used the bath, put cold water in, left the paper for an hour to soak then have stretched it across my desk....only i ran out of gum tape, which is sooo annoying as I planned on having a really productive evening stretching paper! Darn it! any way here's what it looks like for those like my mama who don't know what stretching paper is (its still wet at the moment).  And also thought I'd put a couple of photos of my little Dorian on as he's just too cute not to show.

Some more of my new sketchbook work, getting to be a bit more finished off, not so scruffy, although now I definitely need to get out of my sketchbook! 

The bottom two are my favs so far on drawing, and as you can tell I have a postally brown paper thing but I need to link the two together to have some meaning apparently! darn it why can't it just be pretty and that be the end of it! Any way if you have any ideas on how to help me to integrate the ideas it would be much appreciated :D

OK so did a lot of work before christmas but didn't get a chance to put it up before I went home for festivities etc. Its all sketchbook work so bare in mind its not finished its all just ideas :) enjoy perrlease ....
